Topic: The Steps Of A Good Man

Psalm 37: 23-24
Proverbs 16:9

"The Lord directs the steps of the godly.
He delights in every detail of their lives.
Though they stumble, they will never fall,
for the Lord holds them Well" (NLT)

Psalm 37:23 says, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delighteth in his way.” (KJV)

You see, when you allow the Lord to order your steps, there will be peace.

When you allow the Lord to order your steps, there will be joy.

When you allow the Lord to order your steps, there will be power.

When you allow the Lord to order your steps, there will be victory.

Psalm 37:23 says, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delighteth in his way.”

When you allow the Lord to order your steps, you have something to shout about because when He order your steps, you will be blessed going in and going out, you will be blessed in the city and in the field, you will be the head and not the tail, you will be above ,and not beneath. And when God blesses you like that you ought to praise God with a joyful noise!!!!!!!

Now it must be understood that having your steps ordered by the Lord does not mean that everything will be rosy and smooth for you all the times. While the Lord is ordering your steps, there will be times you will face some problems, obstacles, setbacks, sickness, pain, disappointments, heartbreaks and failures. But through it all, through sunshine and rain, while the Lord is ordering your steps, just know and believe that all things are going to work together for the good to them that love the Lord, and is called according to his purpose. You got to believe and know that God is able to order your steps through your problems, through your disappointments, through your heartbreaks, through your pain, or whatever. Just know and believe that no matter what you face in this life, if you allow the Lord to order your step, you will have the victory!!!!!

Now it must be understood that a good man is not a perfect man.

Psalm 37:23-24 says, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delighteth in his way though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.”

Every once in a while, a good man will get side-tracked and sin. Throughout the bible, there were many good men who got sidetracked and messed up. For example;

Noah was a good man, but he got drunk.

Moses was a good man, but he killed a man

King David was a good man, but he committed adultery.

Peter was a good man, but he cussed somebody out.

And guess what? You too have been side-tracked, and messed up. Romans 3:232 says,” For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

But the good thing is that: when you have messed up and sinned, God “will not utterly cast us down, for the Lord upholdeth us in His Hand.” That is when you have messed up; God is not going to cast you away. If you ask God for forgiveness, He will forgive you and give you another chance. You see, our life is like a broken vase that was broken when it fell off the shelf. Instead of throwing the vase away, the owner of the vase goes and buy some super glue to put that vase back together again. Likewise, sometimes our lives get shattered by sin, but God is able to put us back together again. Instead of using the super glue, God uses the blood of Jesus Christ to clean us up and He uses the power of the Holy Spirit to put us back together again. No matter how bad you may have messed up, Jesus Christ is able to straighten up your life. Amen.

YOU WILL GET THERE. YOU WILL SUCEED. YOU WILL SUCCEED. EVERYBODY WILL OBEY YOUR VOICE AS YOU SPEAK. Yes, the steps of a righteous are ordered by the Lord. If the Lord orders your steps in this life, you cannot stumble. God is going to direct you. When your steps are directed by the Lord, no man can move you. I say; If the Lord; If God delights in your ways, He makes your steps firm. (SAY: Lord Lead me; Lead me! lead me! Lead me! Lead me!)

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow you; Good things will follow you this Month of July. The Lord will order your steps. The angels will usher you and me into our destinies. My God will order our steps. I say your steps are ordered! Nothing can stop you. God is on your side. Success is yours. Possess your possessions. You will not fail this month. God is waiting for you to move first. If you don’t take a step forward, God won’t take a step on your behalf. I prophesy over your life; the Lord is going to direct your step this month. We walk by faith and not by sight. It is time for the church to take steps forward. When you move, the Lord moves. If you do not move, He does not move. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.” JESUS IS WITH YOU...TAKE THAT STEP. NOW. If you want to buy a car do it this month, if you want a new job this month, go on and look for a job. God will direct your steps to the right places. God will connect you.

I agree with you man of God - POVERTY IS DEAD!!!

If you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, there’s nothing the devil can do to tear you away from God. There’s nothing he can do to keep you from experiencing the abundant life that Jesus wants you to live. How do I know that? Because Jesus goes on to say in John 10:28 “I give my sheep eternal life, and they shall NEVER perish, NO ONE can snatch them out of my hand.” People say “Oh, the devil is so scary. The devil is so sneaky. The devil is so strong.” But the power of the devil is no match for the power of Jesus Christ. Nothing in all creation is able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!

The devil wants to take life; But Jesus says “I am here to GIVE life!” He’s talking about SPIRITUAL life.

Millions of people wake up in the morning. They go to work. They come home. Eat dinner. Watch TV. Go to bed. And after 75 years, they kick the bucket and that’s it.

And Jesus is saying “I don’t want that to be it! There’s more to life than just taking up space on the earth! There’s more to life than just the rigors and the routines of daily existence. I came down here to give you a life that will last far longer than your years on the earth. I came down here to give you a life of fulfillment and satisfaction that comes from having a relationship with God! I came down here to give you a life of significance that comes from serving God in the way you were created to serve God!

Without Christ in my life, I would have about 40 more years to look forward to, and that’s it. If I keep drinking diet soda, it might not even be that long. But WITH Christ in my life, I have FOREVER to look forward to! I have ETERNITY WITH GOD to look forward to! In John 11:25, Jesus says “I am the resurrection and the life, He who believes in Me will live, even though He dies, and whoever lives and believes in Me will NEVER die!” And 1 John 2:17 says that “the world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever!”

Jesus came to earth to give us spiritual life. Then He goes on to describe it as an abundant life. He says “I have come that you may have life, and that you may have it TO THE FULL!” He’s not just talking about the duration of the life. He’s talking about the RICHNESS of the life! He’s talking about the QUALITY of the life!

New Testament scholar Leon Morris writes “Not only does Jesus give the best of things in the life to come; He gives the best of things in this life now! Yes, there are difficulties. Yes, there are problems. Yes, there are challenges. But the constant fellowship that we enjoy with the Father far outweighs the temporary trials of this life.” Amen?

There are some beautiful pictures of this abundant life in the Word of God. In John chapter two, Jesus attends a wedding with His mother and with His disciples. When the wine was gone, His mother says “Jesus, there’s no more wine. You gotta do something.”

Jesus says “My time has not yet come.”

But then he tells the servants “Fill these six jars with water, and take some of the water to the master of banquet.

But when the master took a sip, the water was turned into wine. He said, “Usually, people bring out the cheap wine this time of the night, but you have saved the best for last!”

And when the disciples see how Jesus Christ has revealed His glory, they put their faith in Him.

Jesus is trying to say “I’m saving the best things in life for the people who put their faith in ME. Instead of giving you the cheap wine of Judaism, I’m giving you the new wine of Christianity. Instead of giving you the cheap wine of the devil, I’m giving you the new wine of God’s grace and God’s love and God’s acceptance. Because I have come so that you may have life, and that you may have it to the full.

We have another picture of the abundant life at the end of John’s Gospel. In chapter 21, the disciples go back to fishing in the Sea of Galilee. They fish all night, but they don’t catch anything.

The next morning, Jesus is standing on the shore, but the disciples don’t recognize Him. He says “Haven’t you caught anything?” “No! The fish just aren’t biting!”

Jesus says “Try throwing your net on the right side of the boat.” So that’s what they do, and they end up catching so many fish that they can’t even bring the net into the boat!

YOU SHALL HAVE
“PERMANENT PROSPERITY”

"Save now, I pray, O Lord; I pray, send now prosperity" (Psalm 118: 55 - NKJV)

I say you will prosper in the month of June! The Lord will grant you success; Verse 27 of Psalm 118 says 'God is the Lord and He has given us light'; I say THE LORD WILL SHINE UPON YOU THIS MONTH!

Brothers and sisters, we are still talking prosperity this month; permanent prosperity because poverty is dead. The desire of the Lord is to see you prosper. You are the head and not the tail. Put yourself into the realm of faith. Give to God, do not fear. God is the God of the INCREASE. When you give, God will take care of you in your hour of need.
God does not forget tithes and offerings. Every seed you plant into the work of God will prosper you one day. You may not see it now but the Bank of Heaven Knows about it!
God does not forget your giving because He is the MASTER OF GIVING. He never stops giving. You need to be spiritually minded to see that. Don’t be carnally minded, be spiritually minded then you will understand how God works. He supplies all your need.
Don’t ever panic, learn to give and expect from God in your hour of need, 'And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus' (Philippians 4:29). God wants you to: praise Him non-stop, thank Him; pay your vows, give to Him upon which in your time of need, you can expect to draw from His Bank with confidence. Remember that - your money is in you. Amen.

On the Book of Genesis 26, the Bible says Isaac sow a seed in a foreign country. The country that you are in right now is your country. You might not have been born in that country, but since you are living there now, the Lord says plant a seed because when that country is blessed, you are also blessed. You have a right in that country. The word of God says Isaac was blessed by the Lord because of that seed.

THERE IS GREATNESS IN YOU; THE DESIRE OF GOD IS TO SEE YOU ON TOP; YOU ARE THE HEAD AND NOT THE TAIL; MY DESIRE IS TO SEE YOU SHINING, AND YOU WILL SHINE; GOD WILL PUT YOU ON TOP. YOU ARE GOING FORWARD; REFUSE TO GO BACKWARDS. ISAAC WAS ENVIED BECAUSE OF HIS BLESSINGS; REMEMBER WHAT WE SAID LAST SUNDAY: (Isaiah 1:19); IF WE ARE WILLING AND OBEDIENT; WE SHALL EAT THE BEST OF THE LAND. The best of the land!

You see, God requires very little of us. The Word of God says His laws are not so difficult for us that we cannot do them. He says on Genesis; Walk before Him and be blameless because when you are blameless before God, you shall lack nothing. What is being blameless before God? Being blameless before God does not mean that you do not make mistakes. You make mistakes but you repent and turn away from them. Don’t do same mistakes over and over again. God requires very little form us - He says; if you walk before Him blameless, your life will be prosperous! He says on Joshua 1:8, if you stay on His word and not move left or right, you shall make your ways prosperous. This prosperity the Lord is talking about here is not just "Money Prosperity", NO! You will be prosperous in all things! It means you will be so blessed that you will bless all who come into contact with you. You will have no sickness, no lack. That is why you cannot fear to give your substance to God. That is why you cannot stop giving your Tithe (10%) to the house of God. Just give your tithe and stop questioning who will eat the tithe! God says GIVE your Tithe. You do not have a choice, you have to give. Listen:



IT IS NOT YOUR BUSINESS TO WORRY ABOUT WHAT YOUR TITHE WILL DO IN THE WORK OF GOD. IT IS THE BUSINESS OF GOD. BE OBEDIENT AND DO WHAT GOD SAYS DO. DONT WORRY ABOUT WHO WILL EAT IT. DO YOUR PART AND GOD WILL DO HIS. AMEN.
Listen, You cannot sow a seed into a Pastor's life! The Pastor depends on God and not on you. Give a seed with a right motive. Give quietly. Don’t make a noise, and God will bless you. I want to see you 'on top'. When you are healed, when you are rejoicing - I am blessed too! Blessings are a proof of being born again. WHEN YOU ARE BLESSED BY GOD - YOU BECOME STRONG; THEN YOU CAN DO GREAT EXPLOITS THAT THE WORD OF GOD TALKS ABOUT IN THE BOOK OF DANIEL. Remember our prophecy for this year is based on this scripture: THAT, THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THEIR GOD WILL BE STRONG AND DO GREAT EXPLOITS! Don’t forget also our other main theme for the year 2007; that IT IS GOD WHO GIVES YOU THE ABILITY TO HAVE WEALTH! Don’t forget. The year is still young - if you have not managed to do some of your resolutions for this year; I SAY: RE-START! START AGAIN! You are not late. Amen.

God wants to pour Blessings to this church! Amen! There are great Blessings for Jesus For All that God is going to pour out before the end of this year. Be ready and be part of these blessings! Don’t feel lost in this church. Be part of this ministry and be blessed together with all of us. We are Family. Amen.

I want to close by stressing this: It is NOT the will of God that His children should struggle. The world, and everything that is in it belongs to OUR Father. The word of God says we are kings and priests ("...and has made us kings & priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever, Amen" Revelation: 1:6 NKJV); John 3: 1:2 reads; "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." God wants us to reign in this world. I want to say to you that : you shall prosper, PERMANENTLY. You will make "NEWS". But remember that for you to make "NEWS", you need to separate yourself in your faith. Fix your eyes on JESUS and do not fear. Give your Tithes & Offerings and God will take care of you. He will. And remember: YOU CANNOT MISSS SUNDAY SERVICES. DON’T EVER MISS A SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE. WHEN YOU MISS SUNDAY SERVICES, YOU MISS YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH GOD. YOU MISS YOUR BLESSINGS. DON’T DO THAT TO YOURSELF. BE IN CHURCH ON SUNDAYS. YOU CANNOT STAY AT YOUR HOUSE ON SUNDAYS. YOU CANNOT!

YOUR LIFETIME IS BLESSED. AND REMEMBER; YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUOROR!

" For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith" 1 John 5: 4) - You are Blessed!

As you may or may not know, we have been dealing with this theme of God’s economy for sometime now. We have not preached on the subject every Sunday of course but we have been steadily working on this theme of God’s economy. God has a definite economy that operates without any obstacles or hurdles or hindering from any of man’s doing. God has a definite storehouse in the holy heavenly spiritual realm that is endless and limitless with all the resources and more, to keep us from a state of lack and to bring us to a place of blessing where we can always be a blessing. I hate poverty. Poverty smells. That is why , THE SPIRIT OF POVERTY IS QUITTING YOUR LIFE. The Lord says silver is His, Gold is His. He says everything is His. he will Supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. POVERTY IS VACATING YOUR LIFE. The Lord Jesus, when He was on earth, did not carry any money with Him because MONEY IS IN HIM! Remember what He said to Peter, He told Peter to go and get some money out of a Fish's mouth to pay their taxis. You are a child of God, MONEY IS IN YOU. Heaven will open. I say, every door that the enemy has tried to close in your life will open! SILVER WILL COME TO YOU; POUNDS WILL COME TO YOU; DOLLARS WILL COME TO YOU! CURRENCY FROM ALL COUNTRIES WILL COME TO YOU! WILL COME TO YOU! THERE WILL BE MILLIONS IN YOUR Zero, Zero ACCOUNT! SUCCESS IS YOUR PORTION! THE WORLD WILL SWEAT, BUT YOU WILL NOT SWEAT!...NOT YOU. YOU HAVE A RIGHT OVER IT! YOU WILL LEAVE A GOOD INHERITENCE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION! ALL OF YOU HAVE A GENERATION LOOKING UP ON YOU. IF YOU FAIL, YOUR GENERATION WILL FAIL! HOW MANY OF YOU ARE THE HEAD? (GENESIS 26). THE LORD BLESSED ISAAC. IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT MONEY. IT IS EVERYTHING. I SAY PROSPERITY WILL VISIT YOU! POVERTY MUST DIE. I PROCLAIM WAR ON POVERTY!

YOU ARE BOUND TO MAKE IT! YOU ARE BOUND TO PROSPER! GOD IS GOING TO BAPTISE YOU WITH PROSPERITY! REMEMBER THIS: POVERTY MUST DIE! IT MUST DIE. SURELY GOODNESS & MERCY SHALL FOLLOW YOU, ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE, AND YOU SHALL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER, AND EVER...AND MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY ALL OUR, NEEDS ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY BY CHRIST JESUS! THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL LIVE BY FAITH. IT IS GOD WHO GIVES YOU THE WISDOM TO HAVE WEALTH. HE GIVES YOU THE ABILTY TO ACQUIRE WEALTH. WEALTH IS IN WISDOM. WISDOM FOR MILLIONS! WEALTH IS IN RIGHTEOUSNESS...AND WE ARE THE RIGHTIOUSNESS OF GOD! HE SAYS ON PROVERBS 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" IT IS NOT YOUR SALARY THAT IS GOING TO MAKE YOU WEALTHY - IT IS WISDOM; IT IS ACKNOWLEDGING GOD IN ALL YOUR WAYS. GOD IS THE ONE THAT GIVES, NOT THE SALARY! POVERTY IS A SPIRIT...BUT GOD IS LIFTING YOU FROM POVERTY; GOD WILL GIVE YOU AN ABILITY TO GET WEALTH. GOD'S DESIRE FOR YOU IS TO PROSPER. THE WORD OF GOD SAYS GOD KNOWS HOW MANY HAIR YOU HAVE IN YOUR HEAD! GOD KNOWS THAT! HE KNOWS WHAT YOU DESIRE. HE WILL DROP EVERY BLESSING ON YOU! YOU ARE BLESSED. Amen.

We know now clearly that it cost money to do ministry. It costs money to help get souls saved. It cost money to established the covenant of Jesus Christ throughout the world by teaching and preaching and reaching with the Gospel. It cost money. It cost money at this church just to do what we are doing now, and it will cost much more money to do what God has us dreaming about. We have it clear my brothers and sisters that it just will cost us to be the blessing that God has really called us to be. So, I am inspired to go back to God’s Economy and to deal with a matter that is certainly something that we cannot omit in teaching on how God can supernaturally intervene and bless us in our personal lives and the church. I hate poverty. I hate it when someone speaks "Poverty". Let me say from the outset that we have established that there is a definite economy that God has of which supercedes and is exceedingly and abundantly and above what we can ask for or think.
And let me tell you something else, I have discovered in this teaching on God’s Economy that when we don’t have money to do what needs to be done for the Lord, and for ourselves, it costs us everything else…it costs us our joy…it costs us our peace…it costs us worry and fretting and doubting! It costs us because we miss opportunities for ministry because we are preoccupied with our state of lack. And when you lack, you cannot operate for God because all you do is think about the regularly monthly bills in your home that needs to be paid, you are thinking about debts, maybe you dont even have enough money to carry you through the month - so, you are going to think about nothing else but your LACK! Some of us just start thinking at the beginning of the month and we don’t stop thinking about those bills until the end of the month…and then when the new month comes we begin the same process, we become preoccupied with our lack. Our grave concern about bills all over again….and everyday that we spend the bulk of our time being engulfed with our bills and our debts! We miss precious golden opportunities to reach out and touch somebody with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And I say all of this again today so that it can be clear of why we here at Jesus For All Ministry, are talking how the Lord can bestow his prosperity upon us. Being Blessed by God is HUGE. It blesses other people around you - automatically! Its not for yourself and your family only. When you are REALLY BLESSED, your Blessings will foverflow to other people. Your cup will overflow. When you are blessed by God you become humble...you wont be able to say: " I’m blessed…look at me…brag on me….look who I am…look who we are...." …No no..no no, when you are blessed by God you THINK BIG. You think how you can reach out to people, how you can help expand the kingdom of God! We have a job on our hands my friends…a job that requires a certain resources, MONEY. We need to do away with lack so that the work here at this church is never interrupted because of the lack of funds. No…no, it should not be that way especially when we serve a God who owns everything good and perfect. So, now that I’ve said all this, I want us now to go and look at how we are to participate in God’s sharing of His blessings upon our lives and this church.

NB:VERY IMPORTANT
There are certain things in this life that we can do. There are certain things in this life that are possible to us. Things that God has already provided and has given us instruction of how we must do them. He is just waiting for us to do them. BUT, there are things that are impossible to us, things that are God’s Business. God Deals with The Impossible! When he knows we can do soemthing, He does'nt interfere because He has given us brains to use! Our God, Who call things that are not, as if they were, deals with the impossible! Impossible things become possible according to His working, and as we believe. He is able to do so. Today, I want you to know that some of the reasons some of us are not moving into the Blessings of the Lord, has everything to do with our participation. We want everything good to happen to us, but we do not want to do our part. We want things to be given to us on silver platters with a silver spoons. We want a bib around our neck and we want God to feed it to us like babies. We don’t want to do anything. We don’t want to experience the fire and testing in life situations. Don’t you know that there are some blessings in life that you are not going to get until you have been baked in God’s oven….until you have been tried in the fire….so that you will never forget that God did it…and only God did it! In Genesis, it says that God led Abraham into the wilderness of Mount Moriah to test him.(Genesis 22) ..That was Abraham's test before the Blessing! The test before the blessing for Abraham was that God wanted Abraham to know that his first love was always to be God and nothing else. Not even his son Isaac was going to take the place of God. Isaac was a gift from God to Sarah and Abraham. He was precious to them but God wanted Abraham and us TODAY to know that we need to fix our eyes to the Giver and not the gift itself. That is why it is recorded in the word…that we are never to worship the gift but always to worship the Giver….God Himself. Amen. We know why Jacob wrestled with the Angel all night long…until he received his blessing, and until he was able to hear the Angel name him with a new name, the name of Israel. The Angel said to Jacob: " Jacob let me go" .....and mind you, Jacob had been wrestling that Angel so long until Jacob’s hip was out of joint! But Jacob said "I am not going to let you go until you bless me"(l Genesis 32). So you see this business of Jacob wrestling the Angel was God’s way of informing Jacob that he was NOT going to be automatically blessed. What God was really telling Jacob was that 'Jacob, your conniving, and trickery and deception that you have been doing with Esau and Laban, is not what is going to bless you' I'm the one that will give you the blessing! You are going to wrestle with this Angel all night long for your blessing so that you will know that I the Lord God Am The One who gives you this priviledge to be blessed so that you can be a blessing." The truth is, as we see in the word, Jacob was not going to be blessed unless he wrestled that Angel….even though Isaac his father had already pronounced the blessing upon him, he was not going to be blessed until he wrestled that Angel…and when he wrestled that Angel all night long, you better believe that he came to know God for himself! Yes, his Grandfather Abraham had talked about God, and his daddy Isaac had talked about God..but you better believe that when Jacob himself wrestled with the Angel of the Lord all night long, he came to REALLY know God. You can’t wrestle God’s angel all night long and not know God. And Jacob recognized that even though he stole Esau his brother’s birthright…that did not guarantee him the blessing because the blessing didn’t come from Isaac, it came from God. To really possess that blessing, he had to take responsibility. The problem with us is that we want to be blessed but we don’t want the testing before the blessing…we don’t want the testing before the blessing and we don’t want to wrestle anything.

Remember this; and do your part. Participate in the Giving in your church. Give your Finances, Your Time, Your Talent, and you will see...

HAVE A VISION: BE FOCUSED/ BE PATIENT & GOD WILL DO IT

My Brothers & Sisters in Christ, I want to share something with you: VISION. I preached a sermon on vision in our church this past Sunday Evening. I want to continue on that: Be very blessed because you are a blessing.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (King James Version)
"...And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

Habakkuk 2: 2-3 (The Message - MSG)
"And then God answered: "Write this. Write what you see.Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run.This vision-message is a witness pointing to what's coming.It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait! And it doesn't lie.If it seems slow in coming, wait. It's on its way. It will come right on time. "

"Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]--blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he." (Proverbs 29:18 - Amplified Bible)

Do you have a vision for your life?, For your church?, For the lost? If you have, write it down. The word of God says write it down, and it will surely come to pass. You need to have patience. You need to wait in faith. You cannot operate without a vision. Without a vision, you are : 'GOING NOWHERE, SLOWLY'! You need faith....". If we have a vision, we need to learn to wait in faith.

While we are waiting on God we must not allow our spirits to be troubled and discouraged!Smooth sailing is no test of faith. WAIT FOR THE PROMISE:Acts 1:4 “And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father....”. Job 14:14 “If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come” Lam. 3:25 “The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.(“It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.”). Psalms 37:7 “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him; fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass”. Psalms 40:1 "I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry". Psalms 130:5 “I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope” Isa. 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not grow weary; they shall walk and not faint.” AMEN.

Vision is a reflection of what God wants to accomplish through you to build His Kingdom." (not your kingdom). Where we are in life is directly connected to our vision or the lack thereof. There is a Japanese proverb that says; "Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare. Vision will turn lukewarm, lazy, sleeping church members into red-hot, living soldiers in the grand cause of changing a generation. Vision gives us stability, guidance, joy and excitement. The God-given vision will bring glory to God and fit us into His eternal purpose. A true vision from God is not self-seeking, but praises God and brings glory to Jesus Christ. We need Vision to lead us into Divine Purpose. We need the God-kind of vision that will enable us to find our self-worth in helping to build the kingdom of God.
A. Pray for vision.
B. Pursue the vision.
C. Ponder our vision.The life-line of vision is God’s word. The church must not simply start at 10H00, sharp and end at 12H00 sharp. We all need to be involved – for ourselves and for the ministry. Vision is two-sided. You ought to have vision for yourself as a Christian, and that of your church and the Body of Christ at large.

A. Search the scriptures.
B. Sift the scriptures.
C. Share the scriptures.

We also need Vision to Keep Us Connected to Each Other. (Unity)
A few weeks ago, I preached about unity – everything revolves around unity. For God to use us individually, and as a church – we need to be in harmony with each other. Again, let me show to you how important unity is for our vision for the ministry, (and as individuals. God wants to see you getting on along with everybody, and loving them – despite their faults; Let me branch off a little bit and give you conditions for Unity:

CONDITIONS FOR UNITY:
1. "Speak the same thing."
(1 Corinthians 1:10)There must be unity in speech if our church is to make an effective impact for God. The Bible is not saying there isn’t room for disagreement among good Christians. Rather, we are encouraged, even when we do disagree, and we will, to speak in such a way as to promote harmony.Your motive for speaking and how you deliver your words are just as important as what you say. Be careful of a critical spirit. If you find yourself hyper-critical of everything done in your church and others in your church, there are two options:
a) The church may need your positive contributions to turn in the right direction, or,
b) You may need to change your attitude. Ask yourself, "Is there something else going on in my life right now that has me angry or discouraged? Am I taking my frustration out on others in my church?It’s good from time to time to pray the prayer of the Psalmist:139:23 “ Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.”

2. "Be perfectly joined together in the same mind."
(1 Corinthians 1:10) There must be unity of thought if a church is to have an effective impact for God. Once again, unity and uniformity are not the same thing. God has given all of us different perspectives to bring to the table.Prov 11:14 “ Where no counsel [is], the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors [there is] safety.”

Vision will place the church on one accord. It gives us the corporate dynamics that were present in the early church. Whenever the body of Christ can get on the same page with the Holy Spirit, the church will experience the unlimited power of God. We Need Vision as a Trampoline for Change. When we have vision, we embrace change. We embrace new people coming into our ministry to add value. We are focused on the BIGGER PICTURE of God for the ministry and for ourselves. Our eyes are taken away from useless things. We “see” spiritually, we “hear” spiritually. There is no time for petty stuff. Not at all.

Warning! Be Mindful (Be Careful), of Vision Killers. Do you know some of the well-known vision killers? I will give you some;
A. Complacency / Laziness
B. Carnality (to be carnal minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace!)
C. Carelessness – no focus, no concentration in the things of God is dangerous
D. Critics – stay away from people who criticize. Focus.
Give yourself totally to the fulfilling of your vision.
A. Be committed to everything you do
B. Have compassion
C. Contribute something – everybody has something to give !
D. Be strong and courageous – God is with you
E. Communicate

My brothers and sisters, we must strive to look at ourselves as God sees us and not as we see ourselves. We are strangers here living with a vision of the hereafter. It is our ultimate hope that our lives will make earth more like heaven. Let’s DO this!

IT IS TIME FOR YOUR MIRACLE: DONT STOP "SPEAKING IN FAITH"

Jesus teaches us to be careful about our speech because it has a direct bearing on what we do and who we become. You are what you say. Train yourself to speak the right words all the time. Child of God, God wants you and me to walk in victory, by speaking His word out in faith. Your words are important to your life. Our mouths can destroy us or make us. Be careful of what comes out of your mouth.

Confession of the Word of God must come from the heart. Some of us have learned the scriptures almost to show-off but we do not have them in our heart. They have not become part of us. Mark 4:15. “And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.”When you consider confession it is interesting how some of us can do really good when we are in church, but as soon as we get outside we forget the confession we made. The prayers we prayed are cancelled. The words we agreed with in the heat of the meeting we now destroy by our bad words and even worse attitudes.The devil is most active in church situations. Sometimes we think that he is most productive in the nightclubs and cinemas. However, his strategy in those kinds of places is simple. Set the thing in motion and leave it to unwind itself. In church he has to be more subtle. Sometimes he will offer us the GOOD in place of the BEST. There is a difference between 'good' and 'best'. Child of God,, do me a favor, FIGHT FOR BEST! Not just GOOD!
All our good ideas and quality decisions in response to the Word of God can count for nothing unless we protect that which we heard and our response to it.We should also remember that the devil is a highly qualified scholar of the Word of God. He knows how to abuse, misuse and confuse with God’s word. He did it in the Garden of Eden. He did it in the wilderness with Jesus. And he will do it with us if given a sniff of a chance. Dont allow him! Mark 4:16-17 “And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.”
The devil will declare war on those who wish to follow the word of God. They will find they come under ferocious attack for one reason: the Word of God. Many of you make wise decisions in response to anointed preaching, and then, a few weeks later, you become discouraged, and wonder what happened to your good reponse to the annointed preaching. Dont be discouraged, dont ever stop saying the word. SPEAK IT, no matter what you see around you - however, it is important to match what you say with faith. Dont just say it. Say it and beleive because the word of God works! It works. It is Truth and it is proven. Do not worry about the situation around you.
When you pray there is a time when you wonder if the thing you are beleiving God for is ever going to come to pass. Sometimes, it seems that the prayer or the confession has died. It is during this time that the work in the spiritual realm is being done. However, if you begin to doubt that those things which you prayed will come to pass then you may well stop that work. The spiritual forces who work for us can only work with faith. They need us to believe by using faith-filled words.

Decide this week that you will speak only faith-filled words and God will bless you, ubandantly.
